This is the Fitness Wisdom podcast.
You're exercising, you're eating right, you're sleeping, but you still have weird symptoms in your body. You're feeling fatigued, you're feeling tired, your joints are hurting, you're having brain fog. You're even having symptoms of Vertigo and you don't know why this is. That's why we've got Doctor John Kim on the line today and we're going to be diving into the subject of mold and the cell danger responsible. So thank you for coming to the show, Doctor John. It's an absolute pleasure to have you.
And just it's been honored to be here and thank you so much for your invite. I absolutely love your work. Everything that you share on social media is absolutely incredible. You really bring a nuanced perspective to health. And we were just talking before we actually started our recording. You were telling me how the the mold is not actually as bad as we think it is, but it's more how we actually look at the body. So it's you. What do you want to mainly explain to the audience your perspective on mold?
Because many people, as you said in the functional medicine space, are thinking that mold is just this thing to kill and attack and remove. But you're talking, you're looking at it from a different angle. Do you want to share your view on this subject? Yeah, absolutely. So before I start my news, Doctor John Kim, I'm a functional medicine practitioner, used to be a compounding pharmacist back in the day. And one of the things that changed my life was the fact that about 11 years ago I had a heart attack.
I had a 85% blockage of my left interior descending artery and they're getting a stem put in at age of 33 years old. Having a cardiovascular issues early on and not knowing what the cause was and then after really deep diving in I found out that I shut out. Very high levels of bold exposure on top of a tick borne illness called bartonal infection. Mycoplas and pneumoniae, heavy metals and including parasitic infection. Unfortunately I didn't really factor into my childhood experience of getting into a very moldy house that I was growing up in on top of a tree traumatic experience that end up having to live left knee with severe gut issues and neural inflammation.
I was growing up and I thought it was just a normal thing. Unfortunately, it actually accelerated my health issue. So after two years of diving in and as well as getting treatment done, mold issue was completely cleared out and that shifted me into working with people dealing with these type of issues, especially biotoxin problem you talk about. Mold is one thing. Any type of hypersensitivity the person might be dealing with? We're seeing much more issue dealing with post COVID sequelae. But another thing that I see a lot is mass activation issues and how this achieves resulted in people being stuck.
And now they're having all sorts of problems and they go to practitioner after practitioner not seem to figure out what the issue is. And oftentimes they could identify the issue such as like doing a urine mycotoxin testing and they found out that they are dealing with bold toxicity and mold is a serious business. I don't want to just discount that because I certainly got sick, other people getting sick. But the issue is how we approach the mold issue has to be really think differently. I think the way that Doctor Shoemaker always back to him, he's the one who actually really pioneer in this business of looking at mold issues and how that results in chronic inflammatory response syndrome or SIRS.
And there's a lot of data showing these things. But how we approach in reversing these things should be a little more differently. But also having more compassion, empathy and looking at in terms of how the body is feeling safe and how do we create their safety by working on a circadian rhythm, working on a cellular aspect of it, nervous system response. So method that I put together with clients to make it really simple while having the six step road map of recoveries called the Encore method. It stands for environmental factor, nervous system regulation, cellular optimization, optimizing detox pathway, rebalancing, microbiome, enhancing resiliency.
At the core of it all is all about safety. How do we create that safety signal? Because All in all, mold is a signal, right? Even though it's a toxin end up having to affect the body incorrectly in staircases deeply, it's a signal. Guys, if you haven't already smashed that subscribe button and the like button, now back to the show. And how that signal responds in a disregular response in the body result in the problem, right? So especially biotoxin trigger cell danger response and when you have a mitochondria that shifts from producing energy into a defense mode and people think that mitochondria is supposed to making ATP is true.
But mitochondria also dictates how the body respond to a certain dangerous state. And that dangerous state could be mold, which is a biotoxin, could be some other chemicals including heavy metals, physiological stress response you're talking about, it would be a burn or maybe injury from that happening. Could be a lot of times today is bombarded by EMF exposure and as well as blue light toxicity, which is also triggering solid danger response as well, right? People don't know that blue light toxicity can actually affect methylation, right, Because it affects the methionate pathway and then people are travel troubling methylating.
But also methylation wise is a signal aspect of it creating safety where the mitochondria shuts that methylation down to prevent further reactive oxygen species from forming and really trying to contain a particular damage. So this is a role of the mitochondria and this is resulted in the cell membrane could be stiff and then that inflammation response becomes more chronic. And then when you talk about detox pathway in terms of trying to get these type of toxic mole getting removed, that pathway becomes slowed down result, the fact that the body perceived as ongoing threat, right?
So this is where people getting sick and often times all right, you know, if there's a simple mold issue, we could remediate the problem, could take some binders, could take some antifungals, but I'm still not the same as I used to be. Why this is an ongoing chronic response that the body is not recognizing. But specifically when you look at the cellular aspect of it, the mitochondria is still detecting this particular threat. So one of the clinical action steps that I teach clients is that you don't want to start any aggressive detox.
Instead, we want to stabilize the environment, right? So obviously clean home, right, working on your actual light exposure really important. So circadian medium is really key thing and I didn't infect that it until later on in my clinical practice. And then regulating that aspect in terms of your, your nervous system response, because if your body's in this hyper vigilant state, everything becomes a threat. So that's the part that I teach clients of how to do a coherency technique, which would be very simple to do that I teach maybe find some time to talk about further than that.
And as well as repair the cell membrane, use of healthy levels of fat like phospholipids and supporting detox pathway in a proper way so that the body does not at least the cell does not feel like it's on the threat or or being unsafe because if it does, the body cannot detox either. So This is why is such a problem right now when you're looking at functional medicine approach and then looking at in context of social media, everybody talk about binders, everybody talked about the antifungals you have to use, you got to use the olive leaf, you have to do all these different things.
But All in all at the end of the day is how do we fix this unsafe signaling so the body is able to get regulated better to respond to the particular stress? Most people chase energy, performance and good cognitive function through stimulants, but that only gets you so far and depletes your system over time as it doesn't address the foundation of cellular energy, which is your mitochondria. One of my favorite tools to boost cellular energy, mitochondrial function, reduce inflammation and is also a potent antioxidant that's methylene blue.
Methylene blue is a fascinating molecule as it's able to grab onto electrons and donate them anywhere where they are required in the body making it and also antioxidants and restores electron flow in the mitochondria, resulting in more cellular energy ATP. I love to use methylene blue, especially in times of high stress. It keeps my brain clear and energy sharp, so I can perform my best no matter what life throws at me. So if you want to explore the methylene blue that I use, head over to the description below and make sure to use the promo code attached to get a nice discount on your entire order.
Thank you for that fantastic breakdown and and that's a brilliant reframing right? And also like a message of empowerment so people don't actually feel like, Oh my God, like, you know, I'm in this situation right now and I'm stuck and you know, I have mold around me and I can do nothing about it. But what you basically said is that there you have many incredible tools that you can utilize in your life, optimizing your biology pretty much so that it becomes stronger, so it doesn't actually have to suffer so much in the detoxification pathways.
And it can be more smooth or more efficient with the detox in itself. And then the body doesn't experience these symptoms which manifest differently in different individuals, right? Of course, there are some common symptoms associated with mold, but I guess everybody has a specific weak point where it presents itself, right? I've also been exposed to mold myself in the past. I in Scotland when I was studying there, like the houses are not that well built, I would say, and or more not so designed for wet weather.
It's kind of like interesting because, you know, Scotland is always rainy and cold, but then the houses themselves, they're not designed like the best for some reason in terms of insulation. And so, yeah, I was exposed to quite a lot of mold there. And I did manifest, you know, a little bit of mass cell activation, this kind of like itchy eyes, runny, runny nose, like itchy throat, like all the time, these kind of things. And I feel like he's persisted with me for quite a long time, even though I'm doing a lot of good things for my body and I'm getting sunlight every single day, grounding, sleeping and all this kind of stuff.
So it is really like invasive. It feels like once your body has gotten, as you mentioned in this cell danger response, either from the mold itself or from some other kind of trigger some traumatic event, then it's kind of hard to break out of that. So do you know, do you want to maybe explain to people like how what kind of ways can people actually enter the cell danger response so they can maybe identify with this message that you're sharing so that they maybe they can realize if they are potentially, you know, stuck in this state with their body?
Absolutely. So before we do that, we want to actually address your story and how that relates to everyone else out there. So especially we talk about Scotland, we talk about, I actually did a talk on more toxicity at the Health Optimization Summit in London about two years ago. I was looking at the statistic in terms of how the Great Britain, the whole area of it and how that's affected thousand homes in that region have some type of mold issues, another thousand. And then when you talk about the issue dealing with asthma and all the chronic issues that comes into play, old is a probably the Class 1 toxin that has to be really talked about and how that relates to that.
Now in US is much greater about 50% of homes are dealing with mold issues, right? So bigger vision, bigger problems, yes. Now how that relates to chronic illnesses, many you're talking about autoimmune disorders, We're talking about the ongoing gut issues that people cannot get together. You know, you talk about small tests of bacterial overgrowth in the gut. You have to talk about small tests of fungal overgrowth as well. So why such a discussion that needs to be done? Because when you're looking at mold is an invasive species, right?
It starts to invade in the body or at least the living quarter trying to survive. And it's going to do everything possible to fight things off so that it could survive. It's this primary role. So what it's doing is invade the space. You may actually have overgrowth of these particular water damaged areas in the house that can release and growing these things like Aspergillus and Penicillium. It could be having a toxic bolt called stocky botches, which is a black bolt. So these type of molotox, like specifically like tricothesin, which is a black mold mold toxin, it's very invasive.
It can actually cause a cell membrane damage. It prevents protein intake to current, nor can it actually process very well. It can lead into chronic infections, right? Can it lower the immune response? And then on top of dealing with light sensitivity, EMS sensitivity, you're talking about chronic UTI issues that women are dealing with. Infertility could be one thing, right? Upper respiratory issues, simple viral infection that you think you could clear out, you have chronic issues of that. And then in worst scenario cases can lead into also colitis, autoimmune disorders, right, hypothyroid issues and then including in most cases cancer, right.
But that's those are all symptoms could be related to that, but it's never a pinpoint problem saying that, OK, this is the bull problem. It doesn't. A lot of times people end up having to go through these type of sentence. At the end of it all, they exhausted all resources and everything possible. And then they start to listen to me or someone else talk about mold. They're like, wait a minute, that makes a lot of sense. What do we need to do and how do we understand these things? Well First off is that mold triggers not only causing allergy response but yes it does trigger immune response.
But the deep in a cellular aspect of is that more toxins causes lipoproxisomes. So basically it jams a cell membrane, it renders a cell membrane to be useless. It affects the electron transport chains. We cannot actually create energy properly. It also causes the endocrine disruption as well, specifically hormones. So there's a whole discussion about astrobolomic, right, that there's a particular microbiomics helps with detoxing estrogen. It's true. But the biggest issue is what is mole causing in terms of the estrogen metabolism woman, right?
It can actually causes beta gratius level to be increase as well as the fact that it can cause a hepatic recirculation to be further. And so you're recirculating estrogen, you cannot detox very well. Your methylation process gets affected, all those things. So the hierarchy of the issues that you just don't focus on detoxing estrogen, you have to looking at what else is happening. Micro bond plays a huge effect and that kind of goes into the gut function. You talk about bile support. Bile is also a signal.
It's not just about digesting fat, right? So that has to be able to play into how do we support the kidney properly, how you have to solidize that mycotoxins, right, instead of using binders. So bioflavonoids, certain minerals like molybdenum can be very helpful to cyberize certain mold toxins like gliotoxin for instance, right and then really helping to eradicate the mold issue. But another thing that mold causes is biofilms, right? The biofilming of having to be a big corporate of protecting this particular mold from being eradicated by properly, but also is he hiding away from your immune system?
So the immune cannot clear this out. So I'm basically discussing this in 1000 feet view and then really giving the a lot of information right now that you need to be looking at. But at the end of the day, all these are result in a cell danger response. And cell danger response is a survival program where the body shifts from growth, at least creating energy to a defense mode. And I mentioned about how mitochondria does everything. Mitochondria also dictates how the body heals as well. Mitochondria also dictates how you're able to make hormones, where people think that the hormones are done by the endocrine.
No, no, no, your mitochondria does that. Your mitochondria also dictates your immune system as as well. Where's the immune system, how it concentrated in your immune, even immune cells, right, especially the lymphocytes and such. And then when you talk about heart and brain, there's also concentration mitochondria as well. But the physiological aspect that we have to understand is that the mitochondria reduces the ATP output for performance, increasing into signal to increasing more of a cell signaling to creating reactive boxes, species and different cytokines to tell all the cells that hey, there is a particular threat going on.
Instead of making energy, we need to shut everything down. This is where the self signaling also stops, right? And then when there's a poor membrane signaling as well, this can actually lead into multiple other issues in terms of people feeling fatigued, right? Despite the normal labs, for instance, right, hypersensitivity issues or mass activation problems, reactivity, brain fog is a big one, right? You have a sleep dysfunction, weight gain or leptin resistance, lack of energy, all that. Those are all signs of cell danger response there.
So it's not just about, you know, having all these gradioso issues. It's just whatever the bodies on the going to a particular issue is cell danger response. That degree could be low or could be high, but one of the goals is that it's not about forcibly creating energy, right? People are just jumping onto methylene blue, they're trying to do some type of mitochondrial support, all these different peptides going on. 1st you have to do is how do we create that safety signal? So people out there that's listening to this episode, they're not getting anything.
You want to create that safety signal first. So especially like like timing brain repair, reducing inflammation, specifically inflammation resolution, right? And as well, shifting that body, particular body into proper detox ways in terms of doing that. And that's, that's a part that got created in our body. Fortunately, when you have a success signaling that's in a dangerous state, it's not able to do so. So that's why safety matters. Everybody knows about vitamin C, but have you ever heard about vitamin G?
I'm talking about grounding. We know that oxygen is important for our survival, but what if I told you that grounding is just as foundational for our health? Your body is literally a battery and needs to be recharged every single day. Modern life depletes it. Fatigue, insomnia, brain fog, and restlessness. These all sound like a charge deficiency to me. You see, grounding is not optional, it's foundational. This is why I make sure to get my bare feet on the ground every single day and to ensure that I stay grounded 24/7 like our ancestors did.
I use my favorite grounding sheet as I sleep to keep me connected to the earth at all times. Check out my favorite grounding mats and sheets that I use on a daily basis by heading over to the description below and make sure to use the promo code attached to get get a massive discount on your entire order. That's so important. Yeah. And I guess the most logical thing would be to understand how can, what are some practical things You mentioned a lot of those things they're like really quick at the end, like what?
What are some practical things that people can actually do to understand that they are stuck in this cell danger response? Like is it like manifesting as a specific symptom? Is it something that they can see on a lab test? And how do we actually get out of the state? Like do you have some specific breathing techniques? Is it some kind of meditation? Is it grounding? Take me down this path. Yeah, absolutely. So there's no specific tests out there to say that hey, this person's dealing with solidarity response except for you're trying to get every information possible and then connecting the dots.
And that's something that I do very well, looking at the person's history, person's environment, how they are, how they grew up, or if they're living in a very toxic multi environment, could be specific days. It could be the fact that they may have a poor timing in terms of their work schedule, the eating habits and such. So that could be 1 aspect of it. But the second thing that's really important is how's that person's nervous system, right? Is that particular person I'm looking at over the screen Because I do a lot of these 100 actually 100% practice virtual these days.
I talk to people all over the world. Even then I could tell whether or not that person is very highly stressed, the way that they talk, how they present themselves and such, right? So that could be one of the things. But if they are constantly dealing with this particular issue, dealing with stress response from specifically having nervousness dysregulation, it's very hard to turn them off to safety. So we have to really be trained and rewire and help them how to self regulate. And this is where the heart coherent breathing technique is very important.
We'll discuss that a little later. And then cellular optimization, how do we get the cellular aspect into that vision about how lipoproxisomes and how the cell membrane gets damaged and such and including the fact that certain mole toxins, specifically aflatoxin chakathesis does cause cell membrane damage and as well as DNA damage. How do we get those reversed by utilizing cynical phospholipids. So these are essential fatty acid the body's needing, you cannot get it from anywhere else except for the fact that you have two intake like alpha, liolacolinolac, Omega 6, omega-3 phosphorus body do produce it, right, especially in your liver and such.
Unfortunately, because the overwhelming response from the stress, the phospholipid reserves, it gets low. So you have to get intake of that properly, right? So there are certain food that you have to take. I like the supplement called Body Bio PC, very powerful tooth that I use for all my patients for that. And then as was optimizing detox pathway. How do we support your bio, your liver, your kidneys include the fact that you have to actively sweat, able to actively breed, right? Breath your lung, there's a detox work that people don't forget about that people keep on forgetting about that.
And the next part is how do we rebalance the microbiome but also specifically identifying is a 22 viral overload could be mold parasites true overgrowth as well to be have to look at. So in context of gut health is very important looking at your oral microbiome, right, including your environment into some mold exposure. But we have to identify what type of the microtoxins you're producing at least it's treating through the your mycotoxin testing. I like a lab company called Real Time Labs identify that and that also dictates in terms of how to approach it.
There are also hierarchical issue they have to tackle first. So I like to tackle the bold issue 1st and then followed by parasites, bacterial growth, and then really working on the biofilm issues, including viruses. So this way we're able to calm the immune system down. And the last part is to enhancing that resiliency, how the body cannot be reacting to everything in the environment. How do we turn that self signaling down so that body is able to be resilient to handle all these things as well?
Very, very important part. So this is where you know, basics of circadian biology makes really sense. I know you follow that down to ATM. Plus your, your listeners are really into this part. And I didn't realize how important that was until I started working with clients who are overly sensitive. Nothing seems to work in just giving supplements thinking that, hey, these are these these powerful herbals, these are powerful binders that could really help to reverse. But when you have a circadian mismatch going on, when you have circadian rhythm, that's completely off because you got to, people need to remember circadian rhythm regulates the immune tone.
It regulates the mitochondrial output of energy, but also dictating how the bodies respond to particular stress hormone timing and detox cycle as well is very important, right? I'll give you the perfect example. Utilization of sunlight and active in the palm C also helps to increase bowel flow, right? People forgetting about these things, right? So they end up having to just specifically think that, oh, I'm going to take some ox bow. Yeah, I do use it, but what's the basic the foundation aspect that the bodies that's going through a mismatch that is in this particular state.
So really looking at biology into connection into the sunlight is very important. That's why light exposure that it helps to recalibrate the Super cosmic nuclei, right And then it this actually helps to set the cortisol rhythm melatonin production as well. Melatonin is not about night spot. Also creating melatonin during the day and that actually helps to decrease toxin issues. The person dealing with is antimicrobial as well. Bowel flow timing. So that's why organ support is really imperative. Gut motility.
This is why I work on the gut 1st and then left and cycling by creating safety right and then the mitochondria efficiency and how to create this particular energy. So at the end of the day, what I teach my clients is that we need to increase your redox potential and the cell membrane potential within the cells. So this way you are able to be able to get things out. Now, I don't talk about parasite as much anymore. I used to, right? People think that you introduce all these active parasite clients.
It's not as long as you have a while functioning cell membrane and having a particular redox potential, having that negative ion charge, you could repel the parasite issues, right? So why are these people actually going going through years of years of parasite cleanser? They cannot get it out. Well, cell membrane, the redox potential is poor, right? The self signaling is also poor. So what are you fixing at this point in time? What is the whole this nonsense of giving supplements at the end of the day?
Yes, I do work with clients very intensely and intentionally for six months. And at the end of the day, one thing I teach my clients is this. At some point I don't want to ever see you again, not because I don't like them. You got to be done with, you got to live your life right. This is where the enhancing of the cellular business is really important and many reason why in my world and what I teach my clients is called the encore method. There's a six that methodology of reversing cell to into response and working with these different biotoxins and gaining their life back.
And that's the thing and and and the light exposure is also an important thing too. So I have I have a very interesting story of this one particular young gal. She's on the 30 years old, seen 15 different doctors and then having to be stuck. She was just always miserable being reacted to the environment and all different things, and she didn't know where to start. I didn't know where to start except for all right, let's getting the let's get this body sex cell signaling back in to creating safety.
After about six weeks later, her face completely changed how we worked in the circadian rhythm. A simple thing I told her to do was get up. I don't care if you slept 3 hours or 4 hours, get your butt outside right during the Daybreak, get yourself outside and get that natural blue light and the infrared in your eyes. Let's get that started first. And one of the questions she had was well, after that, I feel like I'm going to take a nap. That's fine, take a nap. But you have to get that self signaling back in to creating that safety.
I started working on her nervous system as well and we didn't do much except for utilization of just proper nutrient intake and such, including meals. Meal timing is also important. You have to eat within 30 to 60 minutes of you waking up to creating safety, lowering cortisol, but also help to create protein synthesis as well. You need, you need protein to detox right? And people forget about these things. So these are things that I really implemented for her 6 to 8 weeks, three months later, change person.
He could even recognize her over Zoom. And one of the things I actually asked her what made what are the three things do you think that that really helped to shift us? She's at four, I was at 4 light services and regulations on light and more sunlight because that actually helped to create this particular self signaling and help to really make the changes there. But Scottsdale also has their own issues in terms of, you know, it's a desert. So it has their own issue with with frowning issues, but we'll see.
Oh wow. More, more sun, more sun than you do. Based on my research, this is the best shilajit in the world. Here's why you need to know about Shilajit. Shilajit is a herba mineral substance made from the decomposition of plants and bacteria. This process taking place over thousands of years. It's harvested from the Altai and the Himalayan mountains. Think of it as a hyper concentrated plant matter that is made by a Mother Nature over thousands of years. In many cultures and traditions, it's known as the destroyer of weakness.
Let me tell you why. Chilajit is loaded with ionic minerals, which are the most biocompatible with our human body. It also has a very high concentration of folvic acid. This folvic acid allows those minerals to get into the cell and do their work. Minerals are absolutely essential for all processes of the body. I'm having good energy levels, enhanced cognitive function, hormone optimization, and so much more. You name it. This is why I use Chilajit on a daily basis because it works on a foundational level, on a mitochondrial level and we know that we need healthy mitochondria in order to produce cellular energy.
Something very important to mention is the quality of shilajit. The one I use has been tested for heavy metals and impurities, ensuring the highest quality shilajit. So if you want to experience this incredible ancient substance and find the one that I use on a daily basis, head over to the description below and use the promo code attached to get a discount on your entire order. Problem is, the more you become aware about things, the more issues you can find, right? Because it's this. You know what they say?
Like ignorant ignorance is bliss when you, when you don't know about things, you can just, you can just live life, you know, without being like paranoid about things. But what you are bringing about are actually real life issues. They are affecting us on a subconscious level and our nervous system and everything. It's just that, you know, as human beings, you know, we don't tend to think, think about these things, especially if we're unaware of them. But of course they're impacting us. But yeah, I guess there is also, on the other hand, you see so many people who talk about meditation and the power of, of the mind.
And if you feel like you know, or you believe that something is not harmful for you, it could also be true. I don't know. What's your thoughts on that? It can be, depends on what we are. Yes, stress causes resiliency and resiliency end up having to create, you know, strengthen your body and such. But there's only so much the body can handle. Many cases mindset is 1. But you know how how piece you were at and as was how coherent state you are at to undertake on the stress is a total different discussion.
But everybody's bombarded with stress, so. I agree. I agree with you. Yeah. It's everybody's book. It is overflowing. It is. I mean. That's the reason why when I discussed about when I used to talk about topic of mold, I thought that was the end of discussion and how that leads into all the disease states. But that's not the issue. Yes, there's cold infections and such, but the biggest thing is why is the body lacking resiliency at this point in time? What is creamed that state of lack of resiliency and what's shifting into that, right.
So if you think about where we used to be 100 years ago versus now, right, human wise, humans are experiencing much more stress cellularly compared to what it used to be. Now we actually have frequencies that we are being stressed about from dealing with EMF issues, right? And the EMF is a big problem. Biggest thing that you're dealing with at this point in time, why there's such an infertility issues and people, guys and gals, but more specifically, I think there was an episode that I was listening to Doctor Jack Cruz about.
He has mentioned about if you're living in a city, that shouldn't be the right place for you to be having a child, number one. But also two, if you're questioning why you're having infertility issues and living in a city, that's the reason why you're getting bombarded by EMF that also effects endocrine system and pituitary and such leading into that problem. That kind of goes into why people are such more prone to deal with bold issues. Places are getting moldiers, not many in terms of doing that.
But why are we lacking in such a resiliency not have to handle this? Because of the fact that you have much more of these non-native EMF that's probably creating a bigger issue with mold in the environment, right? There's studies now showing that mold end up having to feed off the radiation and, and, and electromagnetic frequency and it grows, it grows, right? So is, is it, is it that that problem that mold is becoming a bigger problem could be, but what, what are we doing to fix that problem? Just doing antifungals and be dealt with that knowledge you have to create a better resilience in the body, but also trying to avoid any of these non-native BMF as much as you can.
So the body is actually less stressed out. And then as well as getting the body's right balance back in and creating safety. So that's why even last week that we were talking about, it was the primary goal for us when we were working together is creating safety first, right? Safety has to be done first in order to create the body to sense that yes, it is OK for me to move forward. Because if you look at the context of cell danger response and look at the healing cycle, the problem of the healing cycle is the fact that people are stuck because there's an unresolved mitochondria dysfunction.
And the mitochondria dictates that process from innate immune response to proliferative stage of healing process to differentiation of the cells and cell functions. And then homeostasis is trying to create, but if there's an underlying stress response that's going on, the body is not able to respond to that correctly. And then this is where the only healing result resolution within the cells in the tissues resulting in a disease states that we're dealing with. So in terms of the amount of medicine right now does not understand this entire concept and there's throwing at the a pill at the problem or trying to do some type of advanced testing and and even including supplements, you're not going to fix the problem.
It's going to give you some results. Not saying I'm not going to do it's not going to do anything, but doesn't really give you the overall resolution you're looking for, right. So you end up having to have people just constant this loop of taking supplements, taking medications and think that that's the normalcy of it. Whereas the fact that the normalcy is for us to clean up the environment first, the nervous regulation and what kind of cells. So that's where we have a resilient body to handle that.
And you know, live your life doesn't mean that you're not going to have any problems, but better state than what we are at right now. Yeah, so so basically what you're saying there is that the the body is just bombarded from all these different directions, including the the blue lights, the non-native electromagnetic fields. You've got so many other endocrine disruptors in your environment. You've got many, many different things. Even food is a stressor these days because food is not the same as it was, you know, hundred, 200 years ago.
And so because of all of this, we are experiencing more mitochondrial damage and dysfunction. And because you said that the mitochondria are even controlling the immune system response now our body is overreacting pretty much to the mold exposure. And because mold is actually increasing as well because of these non-native electromagnetic fields, I think that's absolutely mind blowing. Do you think that non-native electromagnetic fields actually make the mold? If you have mold inside of your body, do you think it makes the mold inside of your body more aggravated and make it grow further?
Absolutely. That's the first question I actually asked my clients. Are they having any buzzing sensation or are they having sensitivity issues and such? If they're using your cell phone or the near Wi-Fi signal, right? So if you actually have these people who are constantly sick, especially if we go to New York City, any of them, any of the, any of these bigger metropolitan cities in the United States. I'll give you a perfect example. Washington, DC is the hot hub of no, no, you've been PNF. The entire city of Washington, DC is a surveillance state at this point.
That's the unfortunate. Every corner you actually have a camera is unfortunate, but this is where we actually at this point in time and you have an expansion of the entirety of your Wi-Fi to different cell phone signals. You know you have different countries now extending up to 6G at this point in time, right? So these are all bombarding issue dealing with non-native EMF. People think there's a heart is harmless, but it's not. And then you actually are causing a cell membrane damage and the mitochondrial dysfunction and less resilience you're dealing with, right?
I think I mentioned on the last meeting, obviously this is Part 2 on the last meeting, how when you are exposed to non area EMF, you know, people think that it's harmless, it's not causing cell cellular inflammation. How you're actually activating full educated calcium channels. You have an influx of calcium coming in dumping out into cellular magnesium. So all these issues we have to understand the physiological stress that you're causing by these non AMF and so you're cellular less resilient to handling further as a result.
You have an information that's going on your some members already leaky lip, the proxy days that you're going on and further into the damage that we're creating at this point in time. So you're already less resilient to begin with while you're actually now dealing with the environmental toxins, right. So all these volatile gases, the EMF volatile gas, excuse me, more toxicity issues, right, heavy metals, all that you're less resilient to handle those things, right. So that's the that's the creation of the problem that you are creating further.
And then I mentioned before how when exposed to Nona DMF mold actually absorbs those radiations and then end up having to create a bigger problem, right? So what are we trying to fix at this point in time, right? Just as the men are men and women are much more bombarded by technology. It's just creating further issues. So there's there's a particular movie I don't know if you had seen or not Johnny Mnemonic was a particular movie that Keanu Reeves was in. This was a movie early 2 thousands and that particular movie foreshadowed what's actually happening today because that particular movie foreshadowed that people in the modern state are going to be sick because of non AVMF technology.
That's amazing. Yeah. And that that was a problem that that was foreshadowed years ago and then what we're seeing at this point in time. So this is the creation of the man made problem. And then we're trying to have a resolution on these problems by just simply throwing pills at the problem. No, we have to fix the environment first. Yes, that's the problem right now. So we have to fix the fix the environment. Yes, you cannot be running away from every aspect of it. If you had an ideal situation, everybody should be going down to the near the equator and then getting their proper grounding done and fix the circadian rhythm.
But that's not the case. Or could it be affordable for a lot of people. So how do we fix that At this point I'm little things that make improvement block out that EMF exposed as much as you can turn off your Wi-Fi. Matter of fact, Hawaiian your entire house if you can right and then move forward into all the things in terms of the minimum minimizing toxin exposure in the house, right, as well as getting a good air filter right, having a good air quality regular your nervous system. Furthermore, in terms of eating based on your regional diet, right, you should not be having a banana in the over winter or people think that it's all healthy.
It's not treating more toxins to be issued into your mitochondria when you're eating wrong things at the wrong season. It's not meant for you, right? That that's the part that we have to really understand. It's going back to the basics. And a third is working your circadian rhythm as well based on where you are and then really working on your cellular health. How do we reverse cell membrane damage by adding the healthy fats? Back in especially essential fatty acids is really essential. I'll be eating that.
Phospholipids getting proper ways in terms of imagine that cellular stress response, reversing it. That all goes into healthy eating as well. So that's really critical. But the problem right now is that all these online gurus talk about healthy eating. They don't really factor in terms of how to eat based on where you are. They always end up having to sound sound that the sound bites in terms of, oh, you got to be eating this and that's and that. But that particular food only works for you where you are, not where I am or where anyone else is or based on your genetic makeup, right?
What's really making sense for you, right? So that that's a big difference. And also the entirety of the ecosystem dealing with microbiome as well as a why and how is your organ functioning at this point in time. And that's why I think sunlight is critical in terms of recovery process of dealing with any type of toxin, special mold, because when you have proper sunlight, right, and that sunlight hitting the melanin weighs in terms of optimizing your detox pathway, right? People keep forgetting that melanin should be focused into having to help with heavy metal detox, including mold, right?
Melanin helps to empower that process. Clearing heavy metals out how? Sunlight, right, That creation of the structural water within the cells. So critical. And I talked about using binders or anything like that. Binders are needed at some point. Nothing not to use it, right? But this is a critical part that's often missed because that's what functional medicine teaches at this point in time. You go there, you take some classes, get certification, and all you talk taught us how to utilize certain supplements for certain protocols.
People are not protocols, right? When you work with complex cases, you soon realize that those protocols doesn't work that well. You got to go back to the basics really creating that safety back into the body. Allow that body to respond well by respecting the world of mitochondria. That's it. That's all it comes out to and we can figuring I made it more complex for myself. I'm learning from based I'm speaking for based on the mistakes I made and then now realizing that doesn't make sense anymore, right?
All do of even like look at the gut function wise majority times the gut issue, we've been the person dealing with IBS issues. Not saying that there's dysbiosis going on, there is, but what's the critical part that's causing that issue is the fact that the gut brain acts is complete as seven. Your vagal tone is messed up as well. How to create that vagal tone response to respond better, not by taking probiotics, but breaking your nervous system better, right? That's the critical part that we have to do, but also circulating rhythm.
Yeah, microbiomes are very sensitive to the sunlight. Why is that not being discussed about? So when you are bombarded by blue light toxicity and when you have a circadian mismatch going on, utilizing blue screens, especially your cell phone late at night and then thinking why you're not getting full rest, and then how is that affecting your gut? That should be the focal point. That should be talked about way, way before you'd utilizing any type of things to help creating or trying to optimize the gut function by taking probiotics like your environment factor matters, that is including light.
And so even when I work with clients dealing with, you know, bold issues wise, right. The critical thing that I always see with mold is that it drives inflammation. All know that actually causes more mass activation issues creating the issues, but The thing is it also creates leptin resistance. I think I touched upon this last time for a short period of time, but we know that leptin resistance leads into impaired hypothalamic issues including sleep destruction, turbines causing on some amount of weight gain, metabolic issues and such.
But what's really happening leptin is a sign of safety and that particular safety signal is completely mismatch to create that safety back in that's by through circadian rebalancing. And so people who actually have left the resistance, if you're listening out there, if you're having weight gain issues or cannot control despite low intake working exercises, you know, carb craving, fatigue after eating or cold intolerance, especially those are all sign of leptin resistance. But the clinical strategy is not by taking more pills.
It's by morning sunlight, high protein breakfast, you know, eating within the timer, sticky eating, strength training as well as reducing inflammatory load and then really reducing EMF exposure, but also improving sleep as sleep has to start not at night, has to start from the day. That's the part that's often miss as well. And that's something that I made a mistake. Your sleep has to improve from the morning, not at night. That means that you have to wake up proper time to get the sunlight in your eyes and then having to proper sunlight know the day, really optimizing that and then going forward, right?
And then that's something that we have to also do, but people keep figuring out. So Latin is a circadian hormone, right? You have to fix the rhythm. You have to improve ways in terms of how the body is responding to the environment itself. Everything that you touched on there was like fantastic. You just basically touched on literally all of the foundations, which pretty much apply to anybody if they just want to be healthy in general. And so basically the thesis what you're saying is going back to is building that resilience. And in order to build that resilience, you have to reunite or reconnect with your environment and eliminate the stressors.
And what you are saying is that the issue with the conventional system or even with conventional, you know, functional medicine at this point, is that they are just giving pills or supplements to solve something which is, you know, causing from the outside, which you are not removing and you're not building resilience. You're just throwing pills at something and hoping that it sticks. People don't actually understand that when you add something, it doesn't necessarily remove the source of the problem.
Because obviously adding a pill is, isn't something that you were, let's say, lacking something. It's not like you were lacking antibiotics, for example, you know, or your, your body needed. You need to kill these specific things. Because we tend to think of the body and bacteria and different things inside of the body as like enemies and evil, right? We never, we never look at the body as a terrain, which I like to view, view it as. So when something is out of balance, then of course something is going to be higher than something else, But that doesn't mean that that's something that's higher is necessarily bad.
It's just context dependent. And I guess there is a reason for everything that happens inside of the body. So the the body is just trying to survive and do the best it can based on its current situation. And when you don't give it the resources to thrive internally and externally, then it's going to manifest in some form of symptoms. And the symptoms are different on different individuals based on people's biology and their starting point, their mitochondrial health, you know, how they were born initially, you know, if they, if their mother was like healthy initially when they were born and all this, if they're going to be predisposed to more serious issues down the line.
And So what you are saying really is that it's not about adding things all of the time, but it's more about removing all of the crap from your life, which is causing the issues in the 1st place and reconnecting and building that resilience, that strength, you know, eating good food, realigning with nature because those are the rhythms and everything that our body has evolved with for for millions of years on this planet. But now our modern world that we're living in is so foreign and so non-native to our biology that as you mentioned at the beginning, it's adding all of this stress in our book it and our stress book.
It is not that big these days because we don't even have that much resilience. So then it overflows. And then, you know, we basically manifest symptoms of whatever like autoimmunity, you know, do you want to maybe like dive into maybe because we didn't dive into this on the previous time, different sources and places where people are actually picking up mold or actually getting the mold because we didn't really go into the details of this because people couldn't be getting it from places which they could be unaware of.
Absolutely. So mold in general, it, it's around us. People forget that people often get scared of mold. No mold. Mold is part of our entire ecosystem. It's supposed to be there. Even if you end up having to walk around nature, you're going to have different networks of mycelium. These are basically network of fungus all around the floor that you're walking on in, in the woods and such. So it's part of the ecosystem. And there's a difference between a mold and a mycotoxins, right? Mold is around us is part either inside your house or outside the environment.
And that's part of the entire ecosystem. But also create something called a hyphase. So it it and also spores and these sports are supposed to be flowing. Basically call it that the egg of the mushroom or or the fungus and supposed we go around and settles and then grow again a part of the ecosystem. But there are toxic molds within more of an indoor setting where if you provoke that particular mold is going to release. Bola gas is called the mycotoxins. And these mycotoxins are what's driven in terms of causing a lot of illnesses, right?
So there are more toxins like trichothesins which is part of the stocky botches family, right? Those are considered to be the black mold and these type of black mold cause a lot of damages including DNA damage. Matter of fact, these particular mole toxins that have to cause DNA adduct. So what it does means that these toxins bind to the actual DNA structure, right? It also causes mitochondrial damage, causes increase in endoplasmic reticulum stress response, right? And then it all also as well as these when you damage the DNA an adult, the protein misfolding actually goes on.
So depending how the proteins fold it, it creates different message, creates a false message where a wrong message is going on result in different disease states as people don't realize how deep of an issue molotox can create. There's certain things like aflatoxin can also be creative with molotox mold like Aspergillus and Penicillium, right? And there are different types of mold toxins called gliotoxin from the Fisarian family and as well as Xionilant, which is also another Fisarian family. But gliotoxin for instance, can create again DNADNA issues as well as a liver toxicity can cause a sulfur sensitivity or yet proper long ways of to sulfating right into to phase two metabolism.
Zonulin is a estro mimicking moltoxins has been linked to causing estrogen dominancy symptoms in women cause and all these moltoxins can also create stacked in a bio flow and bile is very important for not only for fat metabolism but also mold to be cleared out, but also bile as a signal. People forget about that bile as a signal, not a certain things to be utilized for just fat, fat absorption or fat metabolism or clearing cholesterol out. It's really critical part that we have to understand how the bile plays into entire the cellular health.
But all these things are really important things to really looking at these things as well. So where do we get all these things? So Sochibatras specific black mold comes from damaged homes, right? So wet, damp environment that could be triggered into that and it could be other things in terms of mole toxins get equipped to, but that's the critical part that could be happening, including glutoxins and Zionine could be coming from wet building or wet situations into the environment. So critically they have to look at is anytime, yeah, there's a water damage going on within 20 to 48 hours.
If you don't control that, at least you try to remove that dampness right away. The mold can grow and bold can exponentially grow when there is a poor airflow and when there's a high level of community, specifically above 50%. So it doesn't mean that you have to have a black mold being visible. Some of these mold can be white. So specifically when you are in a Middle Eastern country, for instance, you may not see a black mold, but you may end up having to have white philemy residue of these mold can actually grow.
It can be present there. And then there are other issues in terms of where people are now getting much more these mold from, from grains, right? So when you have grain being harvested, the harvest is at the problem include that's including corn. It's not the fact that the corn is bad or the certain grains you're eating is bad, is the fact that these massive farming that's done and then having to wash and then store improperly leading into these mold growth, specifically aflatoxins and okra toxins, right?
Okra toxins are very much present in coffee beans as well, right? So you have to find coffee that are clean. Specifically, we want to get fresh fresh beans that are roasted properly as well as utilizing beans in terms of getting coffee that are tested properly. Obviously not everybody, every company actually has that kind of the issue, but you got to find the right coffee. So you're not going to be drinking coffee from Starbucks or or Dunkin' Donuts for that matter, or any of these places because they don't have the man means in terms of testing all those things.
They're not going to. So if you're going to and brew any coffee at home, I recommend buying organic coffee beans that are tested for mycotoxins, grind your own beans and then drink it that way. So that that's the ideal standpoint there. So anytime that I see clients dealing with suspected mold symptoms, I always end up having to ask, you know, what are they eating? You know, what they drinking, where they, where they're living, including where they're working. That could be resulted in some of these mold end up having to be exposed to or these mycotoxins and go from that point on.
And then that's a part that's critically where the investigation part we're answering the right questions. You could even do home testing on your own right inexpensively. There's a company called the dust test. You could buy a kit for two 280 bucks and that's one of the most advanced PCR testing that's out there. Consumer purchases could be done and you could get simple test lines. Figure out if you're dealing with actual mycotoxins at home. Light is the instruction manual for your body and there are specific frequencies that modern human is deficiency in these days, red and infrared light is specifically known for improving mitochondrial function.
Boosting ATP production supports collagen production, so skin health and joint health. And my personal favorite is the cellular melatonin production. Melatonin is not just a sleeping hormone, it's one of your body's most powerful antioxidants. Let's face it, nothing beats the sun. But if you can't get outside, you need to find a way to supplement red and infrared light back into your life. This is why I love to use my Megalin Red Light Therapy mat every time when I do my daily mobility routine. It speeds up my recovery from my workhouse, improves my blood flow, makes my skin glow, and most importantly, leaves me feeling regenerated.
You see, light isn't optional, it's foundational. If you want to check out the red Light therapy mat that I use on a daily basis by Megalin, head over to the description below and you'll find all the details. That's a surface testing by the way, more accurate compared to air samples. And then there are professional companies that could have them hired and come in. There's a company that called We Inspect that I have to recommend. I've done a podcast with them just recently talking about how bold can actually cause cardiovascular issues and increasing cholesterol, especially LDL because it causes intracellular information.
But that's a particular company that does proper testing. They actually do a lot more than just testing. They actually give you set plans in terms of how the home should be remediated and what's that point, right? And really giving the thorough plan and layout that you should be looking into. So you don't want to be hiring some Joe Schmo testing company down the street and then thinking that that's the case. And a lot of times these testing companies are not really adequately trained nor do they actually have foremost knowledge in terms of how these moltas and how to affect the body, right?
So these are the things that we have to look at. But you don't have to be scared about these things. One of the things is and knowledge is impossible. You have to look at, you know, what are those issues that you're dealing with? How do we actually reverse these things? Have a set methodical Rd. of recovery and this is where I teach my encore method about I got to fix the environment first, right? You got to get that testing properly done. Make sure you get the proper airflow, right, making sure your humidity is down, making sure you're cleaning up your entire non any of EMF issues.
You might be dealing with the house right, Getting a good HEPA filter. One of the companies I recommend is called Jasper, probably one of the best companies out there that is actually has ways in terms of detecting volatile gas. So actually increase the airflow based on the content actually make egg. I actually burped it this morning so that that that air filter just kicked in and was able to detect that gas forming and have to clean that up. So you know, this critical part in in investigating, investing in a good air filter.
And so that's that's a critical part. And then working to working on your nervous system response in terms of how your environment is affecting the nervous system, you could sense right away if you're feeling much more calmer outside the house versus inside, that's the part that you have to work on, right? How do we build that overall resiliency state and self regulation within the nervous system to move forward and working things to reversing the cell cellular damage that you already have. I mentioned about how certain moltoxin as you're all moltoxin them to cause DNA adduct.
Well, that's a critical part to reverse, right, So utilization of phospholipids. So body bio pieces are one that I recommend quickly adding in Lunar Lake and affiliate because you want to fortify and help to re establish structural balance and as was reducing inflammation and some of these renegade fats by utilizing these healthy essential oil, essential fatty acids are critical to reverse these things and then use of butyrate. Butyrate is a chemical chaperone. So we think we know that butyrate is formed as a short term fatty acid from microbiomes, specifically Bifidobacter.
But that's also critical for protecting your DNA, not only about digestion, but protecting your DNA but also act as a chemical chaperone. So what chemical chaperones do is come in and then cleave off these DNA adduct away from the DNA, right? And then phospholipids or PC coming in to souping the souping the probably almost like a vacuum. And then you utilize A secondary biosol like Tucka to help unfold the protein misfolding that goes on also decreasing obviously the stress within the prism reticulum was a critical part in terms of that.
All those things are putting into play to reversing the actual cellular damage that goes on. So that's the part that I, I put into all my clients when I work with mold issues, even mold or heavy metals. I don't even talk about heavy metals these days. Why heavy metals always play together with mold, right? So all these people end up having to deal with heavy metal problem and they cannot clear it out. And they've done multiple these chelation therapies, parasite clans, all that stuff. Right. Case in point, you have a cellular resiliency that's lacking.
You create, you're having less of a electrical charge and poor redox potential with the cell membrane that's creating that mass there, right? So what we need to do is to fortify your cell membrane, fixing that. Also clear the mold issue out. That's where you have a permanent removal of mold and mold and heavy metals. Excuse me, heavy metals. All right, so the core discussion about chelation therapy is not the main discussion you should be having. Matter of fact, if you're doing chelation therapy incorrectly, you're going to hurt your cell membrane even more because it robs the essential minerals away, right?
What do you need? How do you create electrical redox potential in your cell membrane? And then the oldies doctors and think about chelation therapy and how to use some of these powerful binders and all these things, you're creating more problem than anything else. You're not understanding tire Physiology or the mitochondria functioning there. And I was in that boat. Listen, I, I, I used to own a company pharmacy. We used to make all these powerful chelating agents like EDTA calcium, They look, and I've seen cases of doctors saying that they could reverse out the scaratic plaque by doing chelation therapy.
And I believed into that. But all at the end of discussion is how resilient is yourself, right? In many cases it's not. I keep saying I'm like, why are we getting sicker and sicker because of the embodies impacting us from non Navy MF to blue light toxicity, how that affects into creation of the mold and how lesser resilient to be dealing with. Now we're getting bombarded with different heavy metals and bottler gases and all these different problems, right, Including food dyes and all that problem too.
So all these food gurus and all these people who are part of the Maha movement and thinking about, you know, calling it on to the food industry. We haven't fixed anything into the environment. Food is just a source. The main message you have to put through is what kind of safety and the light and magnetism and overall let your potential create in the body to create in these things. And then you become more so resilient. Not saying that you should be eating and eating McDonald's. No, you need to fix your diet as well, but that shouldn't be the main focal point.
We're crying at the wrong industry at this point in time, right? So even like all these like different food objectives in terms of utilizing keto or, or all these different things, that's great. I utilize, I want to 1st work with clients because I want to really reducing inflammation. So we want to reduce carbohydrate intake as much as we can. We want to increase protein intake as well. But the critical part is how to utilize these fat and protein properties based on lies, right? That's all comes out to many cases.
That's a simple way to understanding it and people who do well within my program to understand that happen to reverse these issues within four to five months, right? So I had this gal who was seen 15 different doctors gone through Lyme, Bartnan infection of Ubisia in six months. She cleared it out. So I actually asked her within the three month standpoint. I mean, she'd become a changed person within two months. And the third one, I was a psych. What made the biggest shift for you? And she she says three things, sunlight, nervousness regulation and sunlight.
That's what she did that that critically shifted in terms of how the body is going to safety and really work in the mitochondrial function. And all the things that I gave her as a sophomore in these herbals is the tools that you help ease that stress response the mitochondria is going through. And letting the mitochondria do on its own really shifted into how her health is, what health was. Health is now, right? She made a humongous difference there, right? So as a celebration, she had her. She had her first pizza within six months.
So that was a big win. Amazing. Do you think that metabolic health actually ties into this whole story like of being able to tolerate the mold and not be as susceptible or, you know, sensitive to it just does the same thing as electromagnetic field sensitivity, for example. Do you feel that if you do spend enough time in sunlight, for example, and you build your metabolic health in this manner, you connect with nature and you have good sleep, that you are going to be more resilient to the to the mold?
And do you think that metabolic health, like good metabolic health or rather poor metabolic health, is tied to mast cell activation? Is there any connection between metabolic health and immune system regulation? Absolutely. They're all interconnected there, right. People who are fitter, more metabolically sound right or metabolically flexible, that is right. They do better into the doing these type of detox. They recover faster as well, right, not as much as people who are much more sedentary, right, who's been chronically I'll they have trouble getting through that aspect of it, but doesn't mean that it's A1 fit approach in terms of utilize these things as well.
I've I've seen cases where people who have gone through different types of circadian coaching and metabolic coaching, they they get results, not saying they're not. They still have initial issue doing more that they have to clean out. So that that's when they start working with me and, and working on the issues they're dealing with. So it does make sense. But case in point is how do we create safety in the body that everything goes into? How do we create safety? How do we create that metabolic flexibility, right?
Resiliency as well mean when I say resiliency means that you're not just completely stronger, you have the flexibility to handle the stress and going back into your base, right? So that's the most important part that you have to look at, right? So All in all, the foundation matters. The foundation has to be set forth from your environment, creating safety, right? So that whole thing ties into that aspect of and this is the reason why people who do well with the program, they get better by basically sending the foundation.
And then in terms of trajectory in terms of the recovery process, a lot shorter compared to anything else, right. So, so in terms of metabolic process is very important. And, and so when I work with clients, I mentioned before, I'd like to keep a more of a power based diet, more seasonal, but specifically reducing carbohydrate intake as low as we can because of fact that we're trying to reduce stress within the cell cellular aspect of it, right. So you don't want to be also spiking your blood sugar level too too rapidly.
Many cases you might have to use a continuous glucose mod if it's not controlled. But also you have to worry about non EMF issue to begin with. But in certain cases there might be a tool specifically how do we control your blue light exposure as well. Blue light also exposes you to creating more insulin resistance. So that's another part, but also we, I don't think we have time to even talk about it, but you know, creating structural water, deuterium, how that is affecting your entirety of the metabolic inflexibility.
And we're having more deuterium also creates more stress response with the cells. And so you become less resilient to handling more than other toxins there. So All in all, right, everything we're trying to do is creating that better structure, better coherence in the cellular function so that you are becoming more resilient and able to even if you are dealing with world, that set of foundation makes it easier for you to recover. You know, I can tell you a little bit of a personal story, like in the winter time, for example, this past winter or you know, it's we're not going into summer here in Cyprus.
And normally going into winter time, I know it's probably not the most ideal time to do this, but I always tend to like to gain a bit of weight and, you know, just gain some size in terms of muscle. So I eat more calories than I do in the summertime. And so basically when I do this, like every time I've done it, I noticed that I get these muscle type of symptoms, muscle activation type of symptoms. So like itchy eyes and runny nose and you know, and sneezing all the time as if I'm allergic to something.
And it's super frustrating because it kind of feels like this is so weird because I don't have it at all in the summertime. Of course, we've got to have higher UV in the environment in the summer as well, which also helps because I'm outside anyway, like 365 days a year. I do that also in the winter time. But for some reason when I eat more food, it just seems that my body is like, yeah, like, overreactive. Do you think that's because the excess food is causing more like poor metabolic flexibility and therefore it's causing me these muscle type of activations?
It can definitely be, but also the exposure of UVV is much more different compared to what it was in the summer. And so the products production of vitamin D, but there's, it's not just vitamin D, there's many other ways in terms of how sunlight and sort of affects the entire immune system. And that's the part and that there has to be flexibility of that as well, right? So this is, this is critical where you try to build out that vitamin D reserve during the summer and during the during the warmer month compared to the winter.
So if you look at Doctor Robert Navier's the work about cell danger response bizarre, the summer metabolism and the winter metabolism, he talks a lot about these things in terms of how in the summer month into the vitamin D actually creates a more of an anti-inflammatory effect. Whereas during the winter month it degrades into more having a more autoimmune response in certain cases. So that that's a critical part of the relationship the body's supposed to be going into this particular sea stalling effect.
Wow, right. As a natural ways in terms of how our entire body's responding. But you know, if you're trying to force and control that aspect of it also could be a problem. So again, environment matters and how critical is to regulating the sun exposure and how to improve that aspect of it. Your skin is not just a barrier, it's a living organ. Anything that you put on it gets absorbed into your lymphatic system and your bloodstream. You see, skin health is a reflection of your internal health. This is why I make sure to only use non-toxic skin care products.
This is why I love fat skin and non-toxic all natural skin care brand made to work with your skin, not against it. Every ingredient has a purpose to nourish, protect and support your skin the way that nature intended. My personal 2 favorites are the Copper Peptide salve and Quantum Blue solar powered skin care. Tri copper peptides are known for the skin repair and renewal properties while methylene blue is known for its very potent antioxidant and protective properties against oxidative stress. So if you want to check out the all natural, non-toxic skin care that I have to use on a daily basis, go to the description below and use the promo code attached to get a nice discount on your entire order.
Oh, that's crazy. Do you want to maybe, like, tell me, is there anything that we didn't touch on in this episode that you would like to cover before we close out the show? Any last words of wisdom? Yeah.
Cellular optimization, how do we create that for people out there? If you are, if you are dealing on mold issues or heavy metals and if you've done gone through the whole gambus of looking at how to improve your mitochondria, but really understanding cellular optimization, There are three levels of three things that I always end up having to discuss about with people with my clients is 1. Your mitochondria, 2. Your cell membrane and three is inflammation resolution. So membrane has to come first.
So especially talk about biotoxins in in discussion of botoxy causes lipid peroxidation. So lipid damage that goes on and that damage causes the membrane to be distorted and causing miss signal that goes on. So I mentioned about how with how everything is a signal and then three, the phospholipid replacement, right, it's so critical to support the cell membrane fluidity as well as a receptor function. So everything goes back down into signaling, how to create a better signal within the body, how do we create better energy production?
Then we start to support the mitochondrial substrates, encouraging sunlight exposure and encourage blue bit. That's a key thing we didn't mention about that, but movement is critical and all these things in terms of sequencing really matters in terms of a methodical ways of improving this aspect of it. So this is a part that's often not talked about. We only just work on how do we just get more supplements. But last thing I want to touch upon is how do we optimize detox and how that actually means principle.
Detox is boomin is a critical part. We keep forgetting about these things. We talk about binders and stuff. No movement is the first principle of detox. So we must support Bioflow, right? Phase two, conjugation, glutathione recycling, not giving glutathione because more giving more glutathione actually makes mold issues worsen people, right? The people don't hear that adding glutathione incorrectly during more toxicity can create more issue in the body. So that's it's about how we create signaling.
How do we create proper glutathione recycling, lymphatic drainage, bowel mobility or at least bowel flow or at least going to the bathroom properly. And the timing really matters. And this all these things are dictated by what your circadian rhythm. So circadian rhythm dictates how all these things are moving, including a bow flow, and how certain rhythm functions in the body, right? If the cell membrane is rigid, is broken, the toxins export end up having to be impaired, so you cannot get toxins out of cells.
And if the nervous system is dysregulated, it causes more inflammation and toxicity, actually increasing the body. And so the detox, what you're trying to do, end up creating more flares and more problems. There's a reason why people get such a hypersensitivity and issue dealing with detox when they're trying to do these things. And so you have to create better flow, better drainage, and then create stability in the body. So this is go right back into creating safety before intensity occurs. So all goes back into your body.
Understanding that, but also understanding your role, the mitochondria. The mitochondria dictates as entirely of the process, right? So you know all these things that I'm talking about right now, I learned it from other people, right? Obviously, right, Case in point, I went down a rabbit hole in terms of learning from Doctor Jack Cruz is specifically your page as well and many others, right? But case in point is how do we end up having to create safety back into the body and then right back into really understand the world of mitochondria and how the mitochondria dictates the entire part of it.
Wow. So that's the critical part that I hope everybody understands that you do not have to be scared of mold, right, When you have the right principle of stability and creating safety as well as movement as well as to role to fixing the entire ecosystem in the body. All these things are critical in terms of your recovery process and that could be short lived based on the foundation you have to create. 100%, yeah. I talk about this all the time actually to my audience about the nervous system, resilience, safety, energy availability, which ties into the leptin which you talked about.
Because as you mentioned, like if the body doesn't feel safe and the body is like constantly stuck in a state of fight or fight or flight or in this cell danger response, how can you heal, regenerate, detoxify or get well? You can't, right? And then there's that saying where which goes, you can't get well in the same environment that you became I'll within. And then that could be your external environment or that could be your internal environment. And to change your internal environment, most likely you have to change your external environment, right?
You change the signals, which you mentioned throughout this entire episode beautifully, which influence your mitochondria because the mitochondria are like these quantum sensors, right? They're picking up everything from our environment. And then therefore, the outcome changes and how our body responds. Well, Doctor John Kim, this was an absolutely mind blowing discussion. I really enjoyed this conversation. And you know that I would love to have you back on again. 100%. And so where can people find you, connect with you, and work with you if they wish to do so?
Yeah, absolutely. You could visit my website at Doctor John kim.com. Very easy. You're going to see wealth information in terms of what I talked about, in terms of how encorement that could be fitting into your life in terms of your recovery as well as there's a link to doing free assessment. And then third thing is there's a link for you to book an appointment with me to work together. And I do work with everyone internationally as well. So welcome and that aspect of it. And you can find me also on Instagram.
I put a lot of information there. My Instagram handles John at I'm so John dot form D. Amazing. I will make sure to put all of your links in the description below so people can find you directly on there as well. So thank you for doing it again because we know that the first time Riverside was playing up with us, right? Maybe we were sharing, maybe we were sharing like too much truth and so it kind of like threw us off. So we had to kind of like reschedule. I think I will be combining these two parts together to be honest, to make it a bit of a longer episode.
I think they will work quite well, quite perfectly. So if if anybody who has managed to get this far and listen all the way to the end, if we're saying something twice, just understand that we recorded this on two different occasions because, well, the the world is a little bit corrupt right now. So we got to keep fighting the good fight and spreading the truth, right, Doctor John? So thank you so much and and please stay on the line when I end the recording. Yes, we'll do. Thank you. Guys, enjoy the topics and guests I bring on the show.
I would really appreciate if you left me a five star review on Spotify and subscribe to Fitness Wisdom Custom YouTube as well. This helps to spread the knowledge and wisdom with the world. Until next time.
